You can switch between the notification methods listed below to choose the best option for you.
How it works
When a new Voicemail message is left for you, you will get a notification that there is a message waiting. If your phone is switched off or you're out of coverage, you'll get the notification the next time you're back online.Changing your notification method
You can easily change your notification method at any time by dialling one of the following numbers from your handset. Simply call the four-digit number below to activate the associated notification method:| Dial | Notification Type | Description |
| 1218 | SMS Alert | When a Voicemail is left, you'll be sent an SMS to let you know. To listen to the message, dial '121' from that phone. SMS Alert is the default notification method when you first start using voicemail. |
| 1217 | Visual Alert | iPhone only - You can manage your voicemail from the Phone app on your iPhone, just tap the 'Voicemail' tab at the bottom. For more info, please see How To Activate Visual Voicemail. |
Your changes will then be confirmed and you can end the call.
