To recharge from your Kogan Mobile number, text the appropriate SMS Code to 12612

Note: SMS codes are case sensitive, so please enter your desired code exactly as per the table above, and ensure you do not include spaces.

If your recharge was successful after following the prompts, you’ll receive a message with receipt details.

1. Not for commercial or resale purposes. For use in Australia You must have bought a Kogan Mobile SIM from Kogan.com and registered your credit card before you can recharge via text.

 

Checking your Balance

To check the current balance of your Kogan Mobile service, simply text BALANCE to 12612. You’ll get a reply soon after with more information regarding your prepaid expiry date and data limits.

 

More info

  • It’s free to send messages to 12612.
  • If you’ve just registered a new prepaid service and haven’t yet recharged it, you’ll first need to recharge it using another method before you can recharge via SMS.
  • There’s a time limit on how long you’ve got to reply to confirm a recharge, so if you leave it too long, you may need to text your code to 12612 again to restart the process.
  • To keep your number active, you’ll need to recharge your prepaid account regularly.
